anestezija, video-asistirana torakalna hirurgija, separatna ventilacija

Abstract

Anesthesia for video-assisted thoracic surgery is a challenge for every anesthesiologist. The anesthesiologist must understand the specifics of this surgical approach, which involves opening the chest and manipulating the airway and the lateral decubitus position. It is necessary to optimize such a patient preoperatively, achieve separate ventilation, and understand all the physiological changes resulting from VATS to have a good intraoperative anesthetic strategy and, therefore, a safe patient and quality treatment.

Key words:

anesthesia, video-assisted thoracic surgery, separate ventilation
